• On password-protected devices used to provide editing services

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your personal information secure and to prevent unauthorised access.

International Clients

I welcome clients from outside the United Kingdom. Your information will be processed in the United Kingdom in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Website Analytics

My website is hosted by IONOS. The website may collect technical information, such as visitor statistics and website performance data, to help maintain and improve the website. Where applicable, this information is processed in accordance with IONOS’ privacy practices.

How Long I Keep Your Information

I retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

My usual retention periods are:

• General enquiries: Up to 12 months.
• Client manuscripts and project correspondence: Up to 3 years after the completion of the project, unless you request deletion sooner or I am required by law to retain the information.
• Financial records, invoices and related accounting documents: Up to 6 years to comply with UK tax and legal obligations.

Where it is no longer necessary to retain your information, it will be securely deleted.

Your Rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information I hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your personal information where appropriate.
